Respecting intellectual property
BuildMate respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the site to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”).
Filing a notice
If you believe content on BuildMate infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent at dmca@buildmat.app that includes: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work; (3) the URL of the allegedly infringing material; (4) your contact information; (5) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act.
Counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you may file a counter-notice with the same agent. It must include your signature, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake, and your contact information and consent to jurisdiction.
Repeat infringers
BuildMate will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts or access of users who are repeat infringers.
